Fabulous collage, Don. Red is my favorite color so you know I think this "Wow". Had a large Japanese Maple at the Ozark house just off the brick patio and then another not as full and beautiful at the Alma house. They are slow growing gems of spectacular colors seasonally. It is interesting to see the vivid bright reds and also the blue hued reds in this beautiful collage. verrrry lovely.....

Many thanks, Sharon! I planted this tree eight years or so ago, so I especially appreciate being able to capture (that so familiar FAA word) a hint of its spectacular palette. And didn't I luck out when one tiny feather picked that leaf for its landing? I took these photos just five days ago; most of the leaves are gone.
