Description
The green tint of its overhead canopy makes this B-25 bomber a colorful workplace environment. Jimmy Doolittle led B-25s on their most famous WW II mission, the 1942 raid on Japan, taking off from the U.S. Navy carrier Hornet. Please see my "Yankee Raider B-25" photo caption on this site for more info about B-25s.

OVERLAND PARK CUSTOMER: Thank you very much for your purchase. I always found some amusement in the fabric on the lower right, no doubt something the owner's wife picked out when the plane was being restored. Most likely very few B-25s went to war with interior decorating like that.

JINHYEOK LEE: Thank you so much for your comment! I think that your art has much in common with Bill Cannon's image titled "Zen".
