Photo 2 of 4: In 1967, his first Trans Am season, Mark Donohue, shown here at Marlboro Raceway near Washington, D.C.,with Roger Penske pouring the winner's champagne into his trophy, won 3 of 12 races (Jerry Titus won the championship). But the following year Donohue won 10 of 12 events and, of course, the championship. Copyright 2011 Don Struke . PLEASE NOTE: My Donohue photos are not technically good images, and I offer them only as historical objects. I don't remember what kind of camera I was using half a century ago (after all, I was only three weeks old), but a Nikon it wasn't.
