Description
Built in 1790, "Old Chapel", the church adjoining this Virginia cemetery, was attended by noted post-Revolutionary War notables. Graves include those of Edmund Randolph, George Washington's Aide-De-Camp (who became the first U.S. attorney general) and many Confederate veterans of the American Civil War. To this day, Confederate flags are placed on some of those graves.
