YOUR Hopes were High.......

Oh, and you know what? That hand belongs to the man with the pants, and you can see his legs there too. Did you see that?

Don Struke replied:

Well, yes, once I discovered the hand. My hopes were high that inside those pants there'd be at least one leg. ;-)

OK I give up!!! Where are the tiny hands???? Congratulations, Don! Truly fantastic, but if this was not accepted into the Towson Arts Collective Exhibition, they would have been terribly remiss. It is a Vibrant beauty. Definitely a world of Orange.

Don Struke replied:

Thank you, Sharon! I appreciate in particular any Sharon Gonzalez comment! Tiny HAND - just one, and if you look on the upper right where the thin horizontal sliver of blue (door handle) projects into the image you will find it. I didn't see it immediately either.

"Most Powerful Orange In The World With Tiny Hands" (or as I lovingly call it, MPOITWWTH) has just been accepted for the Towson Arts Collective's 4th Anniversary Exhibition, June 10-August 12 (2011). Thank you, judges Jed Dodds, artistic director of the Creative Alliance at The Patterson, and Susan Spaid, executive director of the Contemporary Museum, both in Baltimore. The opening event is June 10, 6 to 8 P.M.

I wondered about your interest in my colour. Now I understand.Beautiful colour Don with the eye of a professional. The only time I paint to please is when I am getting dollars to produce a work of art and occasionally someone likes what I do to please me. Look forward to seeing more of your work.

Don Struke replied:

Thank you, Neil! This image was just selected for an exhibit here in Baltimore. I took it in Las Vegas. I like your philosophy about the "business" of art.

About Don Struke

Although I don't call myself a photographer, I have taken thousands of photos through the years and now and then I end up with one that is printworthy. Well, at least by my standards, which might be somewhat less than the norm. But you are the judge (continued below). PLEASE CLICK ON AD TO LEARN ABOUT THIS SITE I'm fortunate enough to have enjoyed a rather varied background in marketing, advertising, public relations, print and electronic media, TV production, and publication design in both corporate and non-profit organizations. As my list of photos on Fine Art America slowly grows, it should be apparent that my interests are all over the place, from the sight of beautiful flowers and landscapes to aviation and high performance...
