Although I don't call myself a photographer, I have taken thousands of photos through the years and now and then I end up with one that is printworthy. Well, at least by my standards, which might be somewhat less than the norm. But you are the judge (continued below). PLEASE CLICK ON AD TO LEARN ABOUT THIS SITE I'm fortunate enough to have enjoyed a rather varied background in marketing, advertising, public relations, print and electronic media, TV production, and publication design in both corporate and non-profit organizations. As my list of photos on Fine Art America slowly grows, it should be apparent that my interests are all over the place, from the sight of beautiful flowers and landscapes to aviation and high performance...

Hi Don.... wanted to check out your photo you mentioned on the comment you left me... very cool....love the colors. What was the "everyday" Ferrari you were driving. We used to have several Ferraris... a 308, Testarossa and the incredible F40!! A lot of my subject matters were cars we owned...Ford GT... Jaguar....Diablo (had a countach too)... unfortunately, times are tough and collection is pretty much gone :( But, my love the car still curses through my artistic veins.. so all is good... someday though.......!!! Thanks for the nice comments...keep on shooting those cars :)

!!! An F-40! Yikes and egads. Well, perhaps after 2012 things will bounce back a bit and you'll be at Ferrari of Beverly Hills with your checkbook before you know it.

Thank you, Cathy! If you get an opportunity to drive that road (basically circumnavigates the lake), don't try it in the winter. Hard to see in this view, but the highway department has 8-ft high stakes along the pavement to guide its snowplows. We are talking Major Snow. Also, chains on a Ferrari's tires make a helacious racket.

Very interesting perspective and use of colors. Nicely done.
