Description
It could be said that the designers of the 1957 Chevrolet were at the top of their game. I took this photo on June 26, 2011, half a century after the car was created, and still it presents a timeless appeal. Absolutely masterful, I think. Purely a result of location (a water-starved field), the juxtaposition of glossy paint and bright chrome with that parched grass presents an interesting counterpoint.
I walked away from a 100+ mph inverted crash near Altoona, Pa., in a red '57 exactly like this one, back in the days when I knew I was going to live forever.

Krystyna, I thank you! The '57 Chevy is so photogenic and has not one bad angle. Considering your high level of art, I am honored by your comment.
