Description
Photographed in 2011 at one of Carlisle Productions' world class car shows, this 1957 work of art is a great example of General Motors designers being 1000% on top of their game. Just absolutely fabulous. Caution: Sunglasses required to look at that splendid interior for more than five minutes!

what a fab idea to have a collage, well done, what a beauty, very cool that you used to race them! v/f
Don Struke replied:
Hi, Nina! Isn't this bella machina a beaut? I don't think that as a camera subject it has one bad angle. The one I raced (a few years newer) did not have quite the cosmetic perfection of this one. But then, this one does not have a 427-cubic inch engine. Since it's a '55 (no screens on the headlights, it would have not the inline 6-cylinder of the earlier model but a 265-cubic inch V-8. Not bad, not bad at all.

Thank you, Gwyn! And of course full credit goes to the designers of this lovely machine. La bella machina.
